Type 0: What to Eat for Your Blood Type

The 0 blood type is the earliest human blood group, dating back to between 50,000 BC and 25,000 BC. If you have the 0 blood type, your ancestors were hunters and gatherers, who thrived on a meat-based diet.

So now, your blood type diet should be based on lots of animal protein, fruits and nuts, with little or no other carbs.

Guidelines:

  1. Foods that help you lose weight are: read meat, seafood, kelp, spinach, broccoli

  2. Foods to avoid when you want to lose weight are: beans, lentils, corn, wheat, cabbage, cauliflower

  3. Eating out strategy: steak house & salad bar, seafood, and Japanese cuisine


Type A: What to Eat for Your Blood Type

If you have the A blood type, developed between 25,000 BC and 15,000 BC as an adjustment to a more agrarian lifestyle, you have ancestors that were farmers.

That's why now your blood type diet should be mainly vegetarian, rich in vegetables and grains, with little or no red meat and dairy products.

Guidelines:

  1. Foods that help you lose weight are: vegetables and vegetable oils (coconut oil & olive oil), soy foods, pineapple

  2. Foods to avoid when you want to lose weight are: dairy, meat, beans, wheat

  3. Eating out strategy: vegetarian, seafood, Indian and Japanese cuisine


Type B: What to Eat for Your Blood Type

If you have the B blood type, you have ancestors that were nomads - a lifestyle determined by drastic climatic changes in the western Himalayan mountains and associated with a strong immune system and a flexible digestion.

Now, your blood type diet should be rich in red meat, fish, seafood, and dairy products. Avoid chicken, as it creates a strong toxic response in the B blood type.

Guidelines:

  1. Foods that help you lose weight are: eggs, liver, venison, greens, licorice, tea

  2. Foods to avoid when you want to lose weight are: wheat, buckwheat, corn, lentils, peanuts, seeds, sesame

  3. Eating out strategy: steak house & salad bar, seafood, Greek and French cuisine


Type AB: What to Eat for Your Blood Type

If you have the AB blood type, which just evolved "recently" in our modern civilization from A and B blood types, you have - obviously - a mixed ancestry.

So your blood type diet should be a combination of A and B blood type diets: both veggies and grains, combined with moderate amounts of red meat, fish, and dairy products.

Guidelines:

  1. Foods that help you lose weight are: dairy, seafood, tofu, kelp, greens, pineapple

  2. Foods to avoid when you want to lose weight are: red meat, buckwheat, beans, corn, seeds

  3. Eating out strategy: pretty much everywhere, except fast food, of course

You’ll be pleasantly surprised to know that although blood type diets discourage highly-processed foods, there are hundreds of acceptable foods for each blood type, including a wide range of meats, seafood, grains, fruits, and vegetables that you should cook with the healthy cooking oils.

Experiment with these slimming blood type diets and eat for your blood type for a few weeks. You have nothing to lose, except some extra pounds of fat, right?
