BREAKFAST
2-egg spinach omelet made with a pinch of butter (use ½ cup raw spinach)
½ bell pepper - red, yellow or green
1 spoon cottage cheese on a slice of rice cake
1 cup cinnamon-flavored herbal tea
Alternativelly, make yourself a yummy protein shake with:
1 scoop of whey powder (unsweetened)
2 scoops oat bran
8 oz non-fat milk or rice milk (unsweetened)
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder (or lemon grind)
alcohol-free whole-leaf stevia extract to taste
LUNCH
6 ounces grilled chicken breast or pork loin
1 bowl salad: Romaine hearts or mixed greens, ½ green or red bell pepper and 4-5 mozzarella cubes drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice - add salt and pepper to taste
2 slices of Ryvita with avocado spread and ½ sliced tomato
1 cup orange or cranberry-flavored herbal tea
DINNER
6-8 ounces grilled turkey breast or fish (halibut, salmon, tuna) – the meat should be free of hormones and antibiotics, preferably organic
1 cup steamed brown rice mixed with 1/2 teaspoon butter, a pinch of caraway, salt and pepper to taste
1 cup steamed broccoli with an avocado-garlic-lemon dressing
½ fresh bell pepper - red, yellow or green
1 cup orange-flavored herbal tea
