Ayurvedic Weight Loss Tips on Exercising and Relaxation

  • if you have a predominant Vata energy, you benefit most from movements with a gentler pace, like tai chi, yoga, or a moderate amount of light aerobics

  • with a predominant Pitta energy, you benefit most from challenging sports (preferably not performed in a team, as competing aggravates your specific body type): swimming for length, skiing, brisk walking, yoga, and moderate hikes in nature

  • with a predominant Kapha energy, you benefit most from vigorous physical activities, such as hiking, running, dancing, power yoga, intense aerobics, and speed swimming - although you are not particularly attracted to them
